The UMC Lions Burn Care Center provides initial burn treatment education to other Emergency Room departments in the city, paramedics, the fire department, UNLV, CCCC nursing students, family practice physicians and school nurses. An advanced burn life support (ABLS) provider course is held four to five times per year.
